K880 MFV Enterprise which was owned by Alex and Geordie Costie. The black fishing vessel astern of the 'Enterprise' was John Clyne's MFV 'Laurel'. The launch in the upper berth was George Kent's passenger vessel 'Noup Head' which now lies in Burray.

The green fishing boat inside the 'Laurel' is probably the mfv 'Kittiwake' which belonged to the Rendall brothers from Stronsay.

Closest to the camera is the "Enterprise", that was later converted for sailing trips around Orkney.
Tied up in front of the Kirkwall Hotel is the "Noup Head". A former naval launch, it carried out medical evacuations from the isles before the Loganair air-ambulance. It is at the old Duncan's Boatyard in Burray at the moment

Ggreen boat inside the Laurel is the Venture, previously belonging to Alfie Sinclair. Rendall boys owned the Kittiewake before this boat. This photo is from I think 1965.
