A gruesome update to picture #2351. This whale was beached in February. You can’t tell by my daughters face that it was a bit smelly. Don’t think I have ever smelt anything so bad. Picture taken last month.

Can't smell that bad. Sombody in westray must be into scrimshaw. No teeth left!!

Believe me it did smell bad. Even up wind on that windy day. I had to bribe my daughter wae fish and chips fae the hotel to get here to stand there so I could get the some scale in the photo. After half a dozen photos fae different angles she didno feel like chips (result!.)I think the dentist’s were at the teeth within the first couple o weeks.
