I worked on the conversion of the huts as a joiner with Alfie Flett from Holm.
Was the large building on the right the grocer shop? If I remember right there was four houses in a hut and two in others. I can't remember but was there over a hundred houses ?? E.S.

Yes it is, see picture #4427. I had wanted a Cortina but Ford didn't have any for sale, so bought an Escort! I don't recall opting for special wheels.
