The saddlers' shop on Shore Street... what must now be the garage next to Tounigar, I guess.

Garriock's that had the saddler shop. On his death his widow then ran it for a period. The gentleman sitting with the stick is Willie Foulis father of the late John Foulis the butcher, he used to stay up the close along side the saddler shop.

A couple of amendments it was Sydney Garriock's shop and Wullie Foulis not Willie.
