Is Janice not Janet Hicks? I should have been in this photo but was having a tooth extracted at the dentist at the time. Would have preferred to have had my photo taken rather than have the tooth extracted!

Can anyone gove a little more information about Alistair Fiddler. Is he related to Maggie Fiddler (nee Banks)

Alasdair (as his name is actually spelt!) is my cousin and yes, his mother was Meg Banks, as we knew her. She went to teach in Stronsay, met my uncle and married him. She had three children - Caroline, John and Alasdair, known as Aly. Alasdair did a degree at Aberdeen University and got a job with an oil firm somewhere in England. I can find out exactly where. He married, had two daughters, both of whom became doctors, but one died suddenly while driving home from work in Aberdeenshire. It was the adult equivalent of cot death in babies. Aly still works in England, near London, and his wife and daughter are there too.

Morag Robertson is now Morag Walsh and she lives in New Brunswick. She is a talented water colorist and has her own website, where you can view her work - which sells very well

I have just spotted my partner Anne Crichton nee Young on this photo. Anne sadly passed away in October 2020 after a full and eventful life teaching in Kenya and later living in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Durham and back in Orkney working for Ola Gorie until around 2004. Then Anne moved down to Salford where we spent 16 very happy years together.
