The radar pylons at Netherbutton which were left after modifications had been carried out to enable the transmission of television and VHF radio. You will notice the cross arms off and one mast heightened.

Netherbutton ceased 405 Line TV transmission ( BBC1 & Grampian) back in February 1985. They were removed by the same company which built them. The FM transmitter was turned off in 1986, as Keeylang replaced Netherbutton with all singing & dancing Stereo FM signals.
