There's Ian Gibson, my Dad in the middle of the front row. Still involved in intercounty swimming and getting ready for the junior intercounty next week. What a bonny boy!

The year is 1961 and it was the 1st year that Orkney won the swimming event.
Back row:- Coach Dave Keldie, Christine Cusiter, Thelma Irvine, Evelyn Cusiter, Sheila Kynoch and Coach John Leslie. Front Row:- Roy Groundwater, John Ireland, Ian Gibson, Jimmy Kelday and Donald MacDonald. Two missing from that photo of the winning team were Janice McKerron and Dougie Hill.
