Cathedral Octocentenary (2), 1937

Another scene from the 1937 celebrations in Brandyquoy Park, now the Bowling Green, and formerly the much loved and sadly missed putting green.

Any ideas what the scene is representing, or who the participants are?

Comments:
I have a copy of the Handbook of the Octocentenary with a list of the 8 scenes and names of all the participants in each. This looks like Scene 3 set in Egilsay - the fatal meeting of Joint Earls Magnus and Hakon. Magnus on right, Hakon on left?
Cast Magnus - J W Flett; Hakon - J Smith; Chiefs of Magnus - J. Ross, A Mackay, H Inkster, D Dunnett, A Cromarty. Others on Hakon's side - J Smith, W Hewison, John Flett, Robert Robertson, W C Barrack, D Ross, R Milne, W Tait, George Harcus, J Ollason (Lifolf the Cook). There are 26 names for Hakon's Men-at Arms, 3 for his trumpeters, 8 for the islanders(4 of which are women)
