Free pass to Houton

A photo of my dad's pass for the free boat from Lyness to Houton for workers and their families from way back in time when Lyness was a busy place. On the back it has a stamp saying Commanding Officer HMS Pomona 1950

Comments:
Back then they didn't use the sloppy and ungrammatical 'their' instead of 'his or her'. Nowadays it's almost universal. (See final sentence above signature. Pity about the double r in transferable.)
