Something tells me this is a long time before 1935,
That's from someone who is 81 years old.!!

I would hazard a guess this is pre-1914. In the bottom right is a stack of wood in Baikie's woodyard which moved to Junction Rd. in 1880 from the Ayre. G.W.Road was not in existence until after 1902 according to the Kirkwall map of that year. The Street is W.Castle St. The Burgh Yard is at the top of the photo. Another to check in the Valuation Rolls.
