As the ship appeared after full conversion to the wartime troop-carrying role. Her rather cluttered appearance is due to the addition of 20 scramble-nets, 9 guns, 8 Carley floats, 6 deckhouses, and 6 lifeboats. The superstructure was also enlarged.
