St Ola coming in to Scrabster ready to pick up the passengers for Orkney and the Royal Yacht Britannia in the background. Both part of history now.

Can't be 1976, the 28th of January 1975 was the last day of the Mk2 Ola's service.

I doubt the date 1976. I did my first trip on the St Ola 3 in 1975

Yes by what folk on my facebook were saying I got the date wrong so it must be Aug 1974. My memory is playing tricks for I don't remember my folk going on the new one and they came on holiday up until Aug 1977.
