This takes me back! It's Alice Young getting her mail from Roseanna Chalmers. Usually her brother, Peter, was also delivering post. We knew them well as we had the village Post Office.

No, Duncan. Alice lived at Sea View, about the middle of the village. The porch just behind her is at Bay View, John Horne's shop in my day! The hotel is down at the bottom of the village.
