I suspect it might have been slightly earlier than 1970 because I think the "Enterprise" hull colour was Cream earlier than that. Alec Costie would put us right on that one.
Your Westray connections would tell you did Jimmy Leslie & Geordie Drever have the "Laurel" at that time or was she still owned by Jock Clyne who later had the St Ola Hotel.

Not sure if the "Enterprise" is still to the fore I last heard of her reportedly in poor condition laid up ashore somewhere on the Clyde.

The Enterprise sold recently on ebay, think she made about £5000

I mind the Orkney boats including the Enterprise working the clams oot o' Tobermory late 60's era and sure she was cream then..I have a feeling it was the boatyard that sold her on Ebay to recover yard fees, hope the winning bidder has deep pockets...
