I weighed all the rock and aggregate that went to this pier on the weighbridge at Heddle Quarry, all 144,000 tonnes of it. 7,780 truck trips. These were exciting times, but hard work.

You say it was hard work Sandy, how did you weigh it that made it hard work? Was there no weighbridge...?

Apologies Sandy, stuck my neb in before I read your comment properly .. I notice you did use a weighbridge, but still dont think it would be hard work ....

No problem Jimmy. Of course it wasn't hard work. Our boss, Roy Brown, insisted that we take it easy. He was jist a pussy cat. I just hope he is running the firm OK without me.
