October 2010 Alfred Street, Stromness. Lovely colours at night when you stop to look - such a shame that Stromness at night always looks best after rain.

That probably means Stromness is at its best more often than not. Fine photo, as one would expect from you, Fraser. Keep 'em coming!

My summer holidays as a child and teenager were spent in the house on the middle left with the window in the gable end facing the photographer. My granny was Mrs. Jessie Tait who lived in 55 Alfred Street from the 1930s until her death in 1977. Thanks for making the street scene so beautiful!
