Mystery wreck

I think these are two photos o the same wreck although maybe not, over to you all again. The name is clear on one of them its a GY maybe 152 and the name is "Marz". Again don't know where this is but for two local yoles its Christmas!! and the sea has brought its bounty to there shore,I bet they went home wae twine and nets and anything else to hand.

The Marz GY182 was wrecked to the west side of the lighthouse on the north side of Stroma on the 17 June 1932 in dense fog homeward bound from Iceland to Grimsby. A boat launched from the trawler capsized and one man was lost. The Thurso lifeboat after much difficulty found the trawler nad took the remaining fifteen men off and landed them at Scrabster.

The "Marz" GY182 ran ashore on Langaton Point (Stroma) in thick fog on 17/06/1932 on her homeward journey from Iceland, both Thurso & Longhope Lifeboats attended, she was a total loss.

The Marz went aground at Langaton Point, below the lighthouse on Stroma on 17 June 1932. According to shipwreck expert David Ferguson she was homeward bound from Iceland when she became stranded in fog with the loss of 1 crewman. The rest of thecrew rescued by Stroma LSA. Attempts to salvage by the tug BULLGER were unsucessful and she was swept off the ledge into deep water.

The Grimbsy steam trawler 'Marz' was registered as GY182. Built in 1929, the 380 ton vessel was owned by the Rinovia Steam Fishing Co.Ltd.(Grimsby)
On 17th June 1932, whilst bound for Grimbsy from the Iceland fishing grounds, she ran aground in fog on Stroma. Her boat was launched but in doing so, one of the crew was lost. The Thurso lifeboat eventually took the remaining crew off and landed them at Scrabster.
