I found this Radio Times page hidden inside an old radio I aquired a few years back. I wonder if the BBC still have this show in their archive? - I'll get on a TV forum I know & find out. Page dated 17 March 1970.

I have a copy of the very documentary here described. People who appeared in it included retired Lifeboat Mechanic Bob Johnston above. Bob was a fine man known as Engineer Bob or Bob o Brimsness.
There were three Bob Johnstone's around here and each had there descriptive term, above Bob was 'Engineer Bob' then there was 'Cycle Bob' (owned the garage) and 'Sodger Bob' (was an ex army man).
In other places where the same named people lived a different method was used. For instance the broadcaster originaly from Lewis and known as Donnie B McLeod - the (B) was that he was number two in the school class where other Donnie McLeod's attended.

The first night that there was something on as far as I can mind on after the disaster was at the Lyness Social Club and I remember Lulu was singing in the "Song For Europe" in the TV room and a lot of us young folk were watching it. Another popular person died a month after March 17th. Vic Baikie and so things were cancelled for nearly 2 months, when you're young that seemed an awful while so it was good to get out socially again.
