I'm sure I see the late Ronnie Swanney beneath the Fergies transporter box on the pier, could be his tractor. Hi viz legend is John o Westness beside him Ian Deyell, possibly Billy Muir on far right in full NLB outfit.

This is the model wi the raised bonnet, were they a conversion to deisel? was it a Perkins in them?

Aye, believe it that tractor did have a Perkins. Diesel engine.
