James & Barbara Burghes of Stronsay, with sons

James & Barbara Burghes of Stronsay with their sons, Andrew and Jim.
My grandparents with my two uncles but I don't know the year it was taken.
This is the only picture I have of my grandmother who died very young. (Thanks to Colin/Thelma I now have access to another).

Hi Freda,

Do you know what your grandad James' job was? Was it lobster fisherman? My granny (Martha) said something like that. I know that he had a boat called the Aspen Leaf? Do you know where they lived too? (stronsay?)I would love to go up to visit Orkney and have a look about. love Anya
