Not in the photo is their faither, George Smith Rendall, lost at sea on board the SS Ruby in 1917.

Hi Barbara, it's really strange but I was looking at this photo one past Sunday evening at my folks. George is my Grandad, Jim is my dad, who i believe you were visiting a few weeks ago. Hopefully meet you next time you come up.

Really loved my time in Orkney - too short though! It was lovely to visit some relatives, although I wish I lived closer and could get to know you all better. I am a history teacher and really interested in Scottish social history, so love this website. We've had this photo for years, and I've always found it fascinating. Hope to see you sometime!

Tina was a half-sister of my grandfather. I knew George, Bab and Fanny. I would like to have a high resolution scan of this photo if possible.
