Tom Fotheringhame who was a joiner in Stronsay. this is a photo taken in his army days 1940. He was grandad to kenny, gary, mike and lindsay the nicolson boys from shapinsay.

Tom married Maggie Jean Hourston from Shapinsay in 1928.He was a widower for many years, and used to visit his daughter, Violet (Nicolson) in Balfour Village, and of course, the grandsons already mentioned.
