I have lived at Claremont since 2004 and did a bit research on the ownership of Claremont using Orkney Library's archives:
1925 - Shop & house Peter Reid
1926-30 - House, shop & bakehouse - Peter Reid
1930-33 - House & shop (empty) - Peter Reid
1933-39 - House - Peter Reid
1939-46 - House & bakehouse (empty) - Robina Reid (widow)
