Sally Whitehead, not Whitehouse.Taken by Miss Mima Merriman on our last day with her in Primary 7.We had been "up the Rockies" as a treat on the last day.

The shed in the background at the left is where the Sea cadets (TS Thorfinn) first met in 1963.

The Nissen-hut-shaped structure on right was originally a well camouflaged bunker for use, I believe, as an emergency nerve-centre for OSDef in WW2. Later it became a 'miniature' indoor firing range used by the Army Cadet Force and no doubt others. Firing .22 calibre rifles (Mossbergs usually) in there was my favourite activity as a cadet.

My Mum is 2nd from the left. Correct spelling of her name is Elizabeth Wallas.
