The M.V. Orcadia, lying ahead of the Earl Sigurd, on the stern looking on wearing the white shirt and tie is Kenny Mackay, away to the left standing side on looking back is Geordie Cormack, holding the horse with the cap is Davie Bews, other side is a Rosie man who was not a docker, to his left is Jimmy Reid and behind him is Ian Smith who drove the Post Lorry from Stromness to Kirkwall daily ,next to Jimmy is Bill Sinclair, owner of St.Clairs Emporium and P.F.Thompsons Garage, Bill was a dealer in all things, next to Bill is Ian Falconer another dealer,behind him is Andy Thomson.Added by Phil Brough.
