Hi Ian. I have just been given a copy of this photo by the daughter of Maisie Rannie, nee Leask, who I believe taught at Stromness Academy before moving to Canada. She lived in Binscarth, Manitoba and has just died, aged 95. All the people pictured signed the back of the photo!

After my mother passed away we went through all her photos and papers. When I came to Orkney in Aug 2013 I brought old letters and photos for the Archives. Both these pictures were given to Chris Macrea.
