Margaret Spark and her husband the Rev.John Bicket

This is a photograph of Margaret Spark and her husband the Reverend John Bicket of North Yell, Shetland. Margaret was the eldest daughter of William Spark, who was a minsiter at St Magnus Cathedral between 1843 until his death in 1884, and his wife Helen Spence. William Spark was my great great great great uncle.

Margaret was born in Kirkwall on 27th June 1846 and married John Bicket on 26th January 1885. This photogrpah was probably taken around the time of their marriage.

Margaret Spark died in Cullivoe, North Yell on 3rd November 1921 shortly before her husband who died on 17th December 1921. They are buried in Cullivoe Kirkyard and the inscription on their gravestone reads as follows:-

Erected By Parish And Friends/ In Loving Memory Of/ The Reverend JOHN BICKET/ Parish Minister of North Yell For 37 Years/ Died 17 Decr 1921/ And His Beloved Wife/ MARGARET SPARKE/ A Ministering Angel To The Sick And Suffering/ Died 3rd Novr 1921/ They Rest from Their Labours/ And Their Works Do Follow Them.

I am interested in finding any other photographs of the Spark family.
