Infant class at Kirkwall Grammar School 1945 or 46

This picture was given to me by my brother-in-law but as he's not a Kirkwallian, didn't know names. I recognise some as being contemporaries.
The date must be 1945 or 1946. it's an Infant class at Kirkwall Grammar School and I think the teacher is Miss Shearer, sister of the former Director of Education, John Shearer.
Back row, first left is, I think, Mosh Marwick.
Second row, third left is, again I think, Elizabeth Bain, now Firth.
Front row, second left is Tommy Gray, and fourth from the right is Elizabeth Sandison, now Hourston.
Tommy and Elizabeth were at one time in the class with me.
I'd love to know more names!

Does anyone know if the teacher is either Elizabeth Shearer or Margaret Shearer?

I believe Olive Greenfield was in the back row 9th from the left. Does anyone agree? I arrived in Orkney from Jamaica in 1943 and this was my fifth school, having lived in Pierowall Westray, Hoy, Orphir, Stromness and Hatston before leaving in 1947 to go to Singapore - my dad was in the forces, which explains a lot!

Thanks for that info. I was in Miss Shearer's class in 1946, so assumed I was in the photo! She was a wonderful teacher and I was sorry to leave.
