Hi John, I think Jeannie in the photo is my granny. I will show the photo to my dad, Danny Rosie.I'm sure he has never seen it. I remember your mother used to come and visit my granny in Flotta.

Robby died a young man here on Hoy, possibly at the hospital at North Ness during the war, as he worked at Lyness and I have heard that he was in that Hospital.

Kitty went into service in Edinburgh and retired in a house in Kirkwall across from the Balfour Hospital and died in the late 60s?

Mary lived in Flotta most of her life -she did spend a spell here wae me folk at Burnhouse.

Jeannie married Tom Rosie and they had one son and two daughters (hope this is correct) and also lived her life in Flotta- not to sure of her passing.

Bab, my granny (Ga Ga), moved here in 1924 and brought up a family of three boys and one girl (our mither) and died in 1969 .

There were two brothers- Tommy and Bobby Sabistons lived in Hoy. They must have been sons of my great grand uncle as our Grandmother reluctantly said they were her cousins (They were a bit scruffy)
