OSS Norso group. Died in a aircrash at Walliwall,Kirkwall 31. mars 1945 on the way back from Norway. The were unable to jump out over Norway because of bad weather during operation Rype.

I saw this plane when it crashed near Little Corse, We lived in Glaitness Road then, and went to see it. There was also a parachute in the next field, which some people took and made unerwear and blouses with it, possibly as clothing coupons were required at this time
