I took this wedding Photo in Stronsay i think it was 1978
but i could be entirely wrong. May be the couple could tell the correct year.?

Hi, It's no Stronsay, It is Westray and the couple are Tommy Rendall, Ring and Marie Leslie, Chaplebrae. Matron of honour is sister of the groom, Jenny Groat and best man is brother of the bride, Douglas Leslie

It, s a Westray Wedding. Marie Leslie fae Chapelbrae is the bride, Tommy Rendall fae Ring is the groom, Jenny Groat is bridesmaid and Dougles Leslie is bestman. The bairns could be Jenny's?

Well done Linda and Anne, I must have got the photo from Jessie Rendall. I had no notes with it as i usually have. However i will just need to search for the Stronsay wedding now. Thats two photos submitted an two wrong that tells you something. Its an age thing.

Photo was taken at the Parish kirk, Westray on 20th May 1983. Youngeens are Alison & Mark Groat.
