I saw this photo and got straight onto the phone to Dad, to see if he would be able to supply the names. He did say that this wasn't his class (he was in the class above), but he did spend a lot of time with some of them (and Mum says there's one or two he maybe spends too much time wi yet -eh, Wicker?).

Looks like the same Ally Sinclair that was in my class in Kirkwall! Could I be right?

I remember Hazel Archibal very well when I was up in Stromness about 1963 0r 1964. If am right was her fathere a policeman. Please help me out as I would like to talk to her again for old times sake.

This photo is in Stromness Museum along with many others most of which have the names on them. Worth a visit. My husband is Allie Sinclair.

Spotted myself back row third from the left, I believe the lad to my left was James Wood. We were both lighthouse keeper's sons and moved away in the mid sixties.

Hi, my name is Jim Wood, Alfred Nicoll is spot on with his comments added in October 2019! I also think Frances Smith who also commented above was a lighthouse keepers daughter. I was prompted to look this up when I found an original of this photo yesterday. Hello to Alfie Nicoll if he reads this.
