From this you can see how picture #163 (the left-hand shop) and picture #166 (the right-hand shop) fit together. I wonder what the hut in the middle started life as. For a photo of the other side of the road about the same time see picture #860.

So this is indeed across the road from your old homestead, Paul, and was Mackay's Furniture Stores in my first memory of it (now Lesley's Hair Salon), as I had speculated to Brandyman. Excellent...
