These pictures were taken at the Kirkwall Glass and China Stores, which was on Junction Road. I don't remember it, and the date is an estimate, so I'm hoping that Sandy Campbell (who contributed the picture) can fill us in on the details.

Top picture is my mother Anna Gorn nee Sutherland and her father Capt William Sutherland .They must have been through from Stromness a visit.Dont know date but he died 31.3.28 This might have been 7-10 years before she married Dad -Dave Gorn in 1934. Could the shopkeeper have been Mrs.Mulholland?
