Queen on Stronsay Lifeboat

I asked Jeemie Stoot what the Queen was saying to him, and he assures me that she said, "Does one ken Johnny Budge?"

Comments:
This photo reminds me o a similar photo taken at Scapa pier when the Queen was in Orkney in 1977.
The crews of the Orkney Lifeboats were presented to her Majesty and on speaking to Alfie Sinclair, Cox o the Stromness boat, she asked if he was ever afraid. Alfie replied, rubbing his ample tummy, "I always rely on my portable ballast Maam, always rely on my portable ballast," which made her Majesty laugh.

Alfie had a funny remark to all who he met even the Queen herself. I dont think the likes o Alfie Sinclair are coming off the production line anymore, or hid disna seem like tae me.
