This was part of a gym display organised by John ("Joe") MacDonald (PE Teacher)for the 1962 School Concert held in the Papdale Hall. You will notice that the smaller persons are nearer the top of the pyramid!

It seems only yesterday! The sad thing is that when I remember the boys it's those faces that I see - not the 60 year olds that they have become.

Jeez, I remeber so many of these guys. What has become of them? My particular pals were Iain McDonald and Colin Omond. Colin and I got guitars at around the same age, and Colin went on to become lead guitarist for the Alphabeats.

Was Colin in the Kossacks?

Colin was lead guitarist in the Kossacks, he spelt it with a K rather than the C. Robert Swanney was lead guitarist with the Alphabeats
