Some possible names, Mr George Barclay, Headmaster,left of back Row; tallest boy in the centre of back row is Jimmy Robertson; the girl 4th. from left is Russell Barclay; 3rd. from rt. is Helen Robertson, later Mrs. Stainsby; girl extreme rt. is Jessie Sinclair; boy seated extreme left is Bob Cumming and the seated rt. of the slate is Charles Robertson. Other names very welcome!

I would like to know if the present St Margaret's Hope School was the same building (or a part of it) which the Canadian arctic explorer William Kennedy attended from 1825-33? He was born in Canada but his father Alexander was from St Margaret's becoming a factor in the Hudson Bay Company.
