Sunbeam Talbot

Answer to Gordie Peterson question on photo 12869. It looks like a 10 hp Sunbeam Talbot manufactured 1949 to 1956. See distinguishing features: Rear window and offside rear quarter light window, also the boot handle.

Comments:
This car is a Sunbeam Mark III, produced 1954-7 and distinguished by the three vents on each side of the bonnet. In mark I and II versions (1948-54) the car had been called the Sunbeam-Talbot 90, and there was a smaller-engined version called the 80 from 48-50. I think it is one of these earlier ones in the picture of the "Ola".
