No trip to the supermarket is complete without a trip to the drinks section, so let us reminisce about the counter where Presto dispensed its evil spirits (and wines), where you would queue for ages at Christmas and Hogmanay like at a Russian vodka booth. These days we can still revisit the Russian theme at the supermarkets by checking out the empty shelves if the ferries are cancelled.
Note for visitors- Highland Park is generally much cheaper at the local off licences.
