The Pentland Firth

This is how the Pentland Firth can change,. The lower photo was taken about 30 minutes and about 5 miles further west than the top one, the same two vessels are still at the same distance from the lifeboat but can not be seen in the tide lumps.
The Westray Trawler "Flowing Tide" is being towed by the "Kella" to Scrabster.
The year is a guess.
