My gr. gr.gr. grandfather, Jacob Corrigal (1772-1844 came from Orkney to the HBC in 1790, and 50 years later he retired to Cobourg Ontario. He had 5 dtrs and 1 son:--Anne, Mary, (who married respectively, Wm. Nourse of Edinburgh Scot., and Robt Scollie, also of Orkney); Catherine, Charlotte, Elizabeth and William, all 4 unmarried.
