From the left: Stephanie Stanger, ?, Amanda Fotheringhame, ? (behind Santa), Lewis? Drever (on Santa's knee), Kay Ryrie? (behind Santa's right shoulder), Richard Marwick, Yvonne Drever (next to Kay), ?, ?, ?, Richard's sister, I think Lorraine? - and this must be later 70's, or maybe even 1980, I would think.

At the back with the glasses is (then) Capt. David Hinton. His daughter Claire is 2nd from right at the front. One of the boys is her elder brother Christopher. Stephanie Stanger's sister Susan is also present. I suspect Christmas 1983.

Can't place the year except to say that it's between '83 and '86 (we left Orkney in '87).

At least 1983 or later. Chris Hinton doesn't appear in this photograph.

I left the Kirkwall SA in 1983 shortly after Captain Hinton was posted so I guess this is 1984 or 1985.
