Think she caught under one of the horizontal piles of the pier at a spring ebb and lay over as the tide rose. This was after she suffered an engine room fire at sea and was towed home by "Orcades Viking" Bars across wheelhouse windows were probably put on at request of insurer as she was towed un-manned. She lay in Stromness for a good number of months before being sold to a Norwegian owner for conversion into a smolt carrier for fish farm use.
