Gaia alongside the Corn Slip

Picture of the visiting longship 'Gaia' tied up alongside the Corn Slip in Kirkwall Basin on Sunday 3rd. Sails around Kirkwall Bay were given on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning of her visit.

That would have been the Sea Stallion of Glendalough, Gerald. She came to Kirkwall in 2007, on her way to Dublin.
The Gaia comes from Sandefjord in Norway.
