I took this picture in Hoy Sound a few years back.
The boat sank off Mull Head,Deerness last Wednesday morning.
Thankfully all three crew were picked up unhurt from a liferaft by Kirkwall lifeboat.

Could I be right in saying that this boat was built in Stromness (Garson)by Jimmy Mason for Joe Laughton somewhere about 1984 ??

She was indeed built by Jimmy Mason assisted by owner Joe.
