Are we saying Boy's or Men's Ba, and who is Sam Tulloch?

Josey tells me it was the first ba thrown up at the new time of 10.30. He also thought it (the boys' ba) went doon- very confused.

It's the Boy's Ba New Years Day 1971. Won by Sammy Tulloch - Doonnie. At the time Sammy lived in the council houses behind the County Garage on Pickaquoy Road. I think the family is originally from Westray. Josey donated the Ba and threw it up, he tells me there was hardly a soul on Broad Street, not even someone wae a camera. I widna ken as I missed the game - must have enjoyed the long lie in bed! This picture was taken a few years ago by Evan Monkman/Avril Bain to give Josey a keepsake of a special moment for any keen Ba enthusiast.

Would that be Sammy Tulloch whose folks lived in the cottage behind the then county council yard building in Picky Rd.?
