A picture taken by Alan at a Legion dance on one of the 110 format cameras that were popular at the time. In the foreground we have Wilma Taylor (Mrs Bryan Taylor) and (I think) Alistair Scollay. Mrs Taylor has taught generations of Kirkwall Primary School pupils how to dance (including myself) and continues to teach dancing.
In the background we see a vigorous Willie Watters (contributor of recent Tankerness Mill pictures) giving it laldy.
