Tankerness Mill

A Tom Kent picture, date unknown. If only we had Tom Kent's diary.

A serene study of a substantial mill that is still largely there. Anybody fancy replicating this picture today, and sending it in? I'm intrigued to find out if the old boat is still there.

Comments:
This mill has just been sold. it has been in the linklater family since approx 1900. It has been unused since approx 1970 but was bone dry inside and no bird damage( droppings). Before it was sold a video was made of the inside and there were posters advertising the County show of 1939 and a blackout notice from 1915.
