This is a photo taken when we were in Portree as the new Lifeboat came home in october 2006.
The Catreona,was built in Stromness around 67-68 for the Corigall brothers who hailed from North Walls Hoy but settled in Skye.
Both Tommy and Alfie's sons are on the Portree Lifeboat and serve as 2nd & dept 2nd coxwains.
We were made most welcome for our overnight stay in Portree as were we in each place that we visited on that unforgettable trip from Poole in Dorset to Longhope.
