'After 30 years of living in Kirkwall and passing the Cathederal almost daily, I am ashamed to say I only noticed the wonderful carved faces this summer. I would recommend anyone passing the Cathederal with binoculars or a zoom lens takes a look - some of the expressions are amazing.'
